She Is Grown

One day, she was so small.

She hid behind dad who stood so tall.

One day, she said not a word. She did everything from what she heard.  One day, she started to grow. She stood firm and it did show. One day, she spoke from her heart.  She then made her mark.  Today, she does what is right. She has learned to not give up her fight. Today, she battles with her hands. She is exhausted and now understands.  Today, she is grown. She has now set her tone.  Today, she sees a new life.  She is locked on her sight.
