Separation

If I could change one thing,

I'd change how people look at things.

Make it so there's no distinction between gay and strait or black and white.

I'd change it so every child grew up in a loving home where they could be happy.

I'd eradicate the world's boundaries,

We're all one people who have chosen to pretend we are different.

I'd have it so that man and a woman were on an equal playing field.

So that it didn't matter which god you believed in.

I'd see to it that a poor man had the same rights as a rich one,

And that people stop referring to blonds as "pretty airheads."

I'd make it that we didn't feel the need to hid ourselves behind sunglasses and makeup

If I had to choose one thing to change,

It would be the separation.
