A Rose's Bloomability

christ chose to lift her at this time,
"To die is better than to live,"
is written in the Book of Life.

faithfully, we see these bluer skies
to which our loved ones soar and rise
yet, today we cry.

sadness is no shameful place to accost,
as love brought forth these wounded tears,
in the face of unexpected loss.

death slipped in to meet her, unnoticed with cover of night,
unharmful, nor trampling; but blessing and healing,
as Death is the beginning of peace; Death is the seeing of light.
