Roses Are Not Always Red

Roses are white

Roses are red

Roses are pink

Roses are orange

Roses are any color

You want them to be

Life is born as a

White rose

The purest form

When life hits you with

Hardship

With death

With trauma

Your white rose slowly turns

Red

Red roses

The sign of love

Love prevails

Through the

Hardship

The death

The trauma

Love can break apart hurt

Turning your white rose

Pink

Pink Roses

The sign of joy

The proof that hurt can be

Overcome

Then life can become

Happy

You can find passion

In all things

Turning your rose

Orange

Orange roses

The sign of enthusiasm

Life finally feels like

Love

Like joy

Enthusiasm

Life is colorful

Not always red
