Rich Kid

I have a buck or two,

Not to spare.

My parents work,

but I can't reply on their jobs.

I can't rely on them to pay my debt.

I didn't grow up in old money,

Nor will I have new money.

I'm not a rich kid.

I'm not a rich kid,

who can buy all the things they want.

I'm not a rich kid

Who can buy their education.

This $1,000 I'd be lucky to get,

To pay my tuition,

So I can get in.
