Retroactive jealousy

Chains tighten on my feet
I'm stuck at this same place
Your past grinds against my bones
Disgust fills my throat
I look at you with hatred
For you are the only thing I love
So how could you fill me with such resentment?
You two still speak
And I never left my insecurities
The mistakes of before
Tears me apart
I don't want to portray others on to you
But each of you look the same
Through these shattered glasses
My past is distorted with the present
Maybe it's time to let go
