The sun comes out,

Glittering and proud,

accompanied by a cry

of a plump healthy baby;

Its face red and round,

a new light born into life;

Waiting to see this world,

It opens its eyes and smiles;

Its skin and bones grow by day,

Milk teeth pushing their way;

childhood passes quickly by,

Full of learning and sleep tight’s;

 then comes aging with its perks,

Of raising a new generation;

Laughs and tears mark the storyline,

What happened now becomes memories,

and as the smooth skin crinkles,

its purpose is now completed and

the last breath becomes a story

This poem is about:
Our world
