America land of the free

Where the rights I was supposedly born with are given to those who didn’t earn them

Those who took boats and jumped fences

How is this right for all the men and women that have to fight for what they have

To protect it in fear that it will be taken away.

America home of the brave

Where we meddle in foreign affairs that don’t concern us

And our children are given the scraps instead of taking care of our own first

Parents and students work two or three jobs to pay stiff college tuitions

The needs for a higher education are not given because other countries are more important

Yeah, proud to be an American.
