Power of Confidence

Sun, 10/21/2018 - 00:16 -- Deerk1

Standing, eyes watching my every move, faces dull by the awaiting speech

The room silent... sufficating, the sound of the air con is heard is one of the two sounds that is heard

The other, the nervousness that emit from every fiber of my being

My eyes scan the room, but then eyes meet brightened hopeful eyes waiting for what is to come

A rush of comfort comes in like the water of the ocean hitting the shore

Like that a frightened student is able to find a love for speech

A love for speech that was awakened by a high school english teacher
