Poem for Sunday

The day of rest, for the nations best.

But who really stay in bed? Body clock, kids, and intsa too, make

this very distracting for you.

Try as you might, to switch off from this, the sun rises, disturbing

the nocturnal bliss.

Hugs and kisses for the person laying next to you, if there is no-one

there, a pillow will have to make do.

Whats in store for the day ahead, family, dinner, I'm not sure I

can face it with this sore head.

Better make the most of the day, just one moment kids, I need

to rest my weary head.

Walking, talking, planning the week ahead. I'm going to get out

there to earn my 'bread'.

Get up, get dressed, take a fresh shower for you. Let's start how

we mean to go on, have a day for you.
