Painted Smiles

I wear a mask woven of lies

Hiding behind a happy facade

I wear long sleeves

To cover the scars on my arm

I wear oversized clothes

To cover the weight i'm so self conscious about

I painted on a smile

So that nobody would ask “what's wrong?”

I keep my thoughts to myself

Afraid of what others will think of them

I live inside of myself

Becouse I don’t know how to face this world.
