Our Island Home

Alone, no that's not right.

I need 'him' there right by my side.

At least I have an ear to talk right off.

Someone who will speak right back.

We can joke around to make time past.

We'll learn more about the other.

Plus it helps to have someone do the hardwork too.

Wise in his years and that's knowledge to boot.

I know with him we'll be off this island soon.

But at least we'll forget the world for awhile.

I know I do when I look at his smile.

I'm so glad to have his helping hand.

He is strong and kind, so that keeps him always on my mind.

Oh god if I didn't have him here I know I'd be crying.

Yeah I could do it on my own.

But with him at least it'll feel like a home.
