What if this is just a dream...

  An alternate reality

The other side of that mirror you're constantly peering into

A figment of someone's vegetative imagination?

I feel so close to breaking through this membrane that separates me from...

  Nirvana

    Self-realization

      An epiphany of monumental proportions

What is reality, what is life, what is a dream...

But a lie you tell yourself so that you don't worry so much

A story to help you sleep at night

      A blessing in disguise

My purpose, my fulfillment lies somewhere within the intangible...

In the ocean's whisper in the night

In the dew drops kissing new grass

In the dilation of a pupil

Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...

Just maybe I'm not supposed to know

That this line between you and me...

Me and what isn't meant to be seen...

Maybe that is life.
