Old and Green

I'll arrive early enough

but it's always tough

to notice you since fifteen

as you come old and green

no matter how hard I try every morning

you always wake me with loud warnings

don't know what this feeling means

when I see you come old and green

your windows down and arm out

through my rear view window I'll scout

I want to rid myself of the routine

watching you arrive old and green

I enjoyed this short poem, with the thing that I most enjoyed being the repetition of "old and green". I did notice a couple of things though:

"don't know what this feeling(s) means" - no need for the "s"

"veiw" should be spelled "view"

This is a very nicely written and endearing poem! Thanks for sharing xoxo
