Not what you think.

Location

She walks the halls with her arms wrapped around her books that are strapped to her chest. 
Everyone makes fun of the way she is but her posture tells a story few will ever know. 
She is keeping herself safe, no sheltered in to feel protection. She's not a freak because she keeps her head down and doesn't talk, she was taught "don't talk unless spoken to". One wrong answer can make you unsafe. 
She moves quickly when a man raises his hand in anyway because she's used to that hand being raised to hurt her. 
She doesn't see it's another man wanting to love her because it has been carved in her brain "No man will want you, I don't even want you". So as you walk through the halls look at the posture of a person, that tells a story way better than a picture album full of fake memories.
