No offense is a word used so people can say an offensive thing.
No offense is a word used to make people feel better about themselves.
No offense is a word that allows you that say rude and harsh things.
No offense makes no sense to me.

How can someone say no offense and then say something that is quite offensive to you.
How can someone expect that saying no offense with make it okay.
How can someone expect you to be alright after they offend you just because they said those magic words.

I don’t understand why people think this way.

If anything, the word no offense tends to make things more offensive.
