No Name

They say holding on tight
will make it all right,
but letting go is so much harder to do
with a glimmer of hope still in your heart.

Is it just an illusion, what I see in your eyes?
A shadow cast by the heart that's
been starved for so long?

Or is there something more past those lashes
that offers so many sweet glances,
so many valuable chances?

I want to know,
what makes your heart glow?
I want to know,
what passion you can show
in the dark under these stars.

I yearn for your trust,
I beg for the lust
that drives our motivation
for the satisfying sensation
that can only be shared between us.
