Nightfall’s Musings

Bloodshot eyes

Clear despite the rain

Breaths as silent as they are translucent

Dark circles

Covered by flesh covered dust

A semi truck collision

Of crippling fatigue

Shattered steps

Bone snapping tendon

Snapping back to this

There is no empty like the cornea of the eye

The center of the earth

Restless and pressured

A finger brush at the corner of the universe

Eyes opening to dark

One must decide they want to see the light

One Day At a Time
