The Night

There is something so innocent about the night.

Maybe it's the sound of the wind that whistles the trees

or the silence breaks as a car passes through every hour or so.

There is so much curiosity because of what we cannot see in the unknown.

That's what makes it so innocent because our future is the night.

We walk through with three possibilities:

One:

We find somewhere, someone or somethings so extraordinary

that changes our life for the better.

Two:

We face a huge conflict in the shadows that will

make or break us.

Three:

We stay on the same road, with nothing good or bad happening.

The night tests our ability by seeing how

long we can walk before we decide to turn around.

It throws the second possibility to test our inner strengths,

then to see if we're ready for the next turn.

But for the ones who will turn away from the unknown,

will always remain lost on the same road they started on.

However, for the lucky ones, the night chooses them to face their shadows.

The ones who succeed, were able to see the parts of them

that they could never see before,

Because they were able to accept those parts of themselves.

The night is our road block.

The night is our inner selves that we choose to ignore.

The night is our innocence,

but our evilness too.

The night is the real you.
