My Fear

Location

    Fear

Fear stares into my eyes and dares me to take a step forward.

I normally wouldn’t, but now I have to.

As I take a few steps, my fear begins growling at me,

Reminding me of its control over my desires.

As life forces me to take another step, though I fight it,

My fear jumps backwards. But why?

I think it realizes I’m not afraid of growing up anymore.
