My destruction

Location

You didn't give me butterflies in my stomach.
You gave me fireworks.

In your eyes, there wasn't just warmth.
There were flames.

Your touch didn't make me tingle.
It made me melt.

Your kisses were not delicious.
They were exquisite.

I only saw the light in you,
Until I realized your darkness was
bigger than the both of us combined.

The fireworks disappeared.
Your touch made me shiver.
You kisses were disgusting.

And those flames in your eyes....
It was not the passion of our love.

It was simply the reflection of my destruction
