Move On

I just want to be in love,

Like we were so long ago,

She’s left me by myself,

And I can’t escape this hell.

She doesn’t love me any longer,

This I know to be true,

But I can’t move on from her,

I can’t be loved by anyone else.

My brain tries to convince me,

To run away and find her,

But the saner part of me,

Reminds me that she loves him.

I miss the brightness,

Of my Star,

The world hides her,

Behind a wall

I’ll never see her again,

Unless someone helps,

Unless someone sees the pain I’m in

And frees me from this hell.

She’s worth so much more than me,

I deserved to lose it all,

If I can’t move on from her,

Down my head will fall.
