I saw Mary today

     I saw Rick today

I haven't seen her since last summer

     I wonder if he still cares about our summer romance

She looks better than ever

     I couldn't take my eyes off of him

I asked her how senior year was going

     I asked him about his new college girlfriend

I'd choose her over anyone

     He's probably having the time of his life now

I can't even look at her without breaking down

     He loves college and his new girl

I took her in my arms for the last time
