Minute Changes
To change just one frown
fill one stomache
is all I can try to do.
To give one blanket
for one warm night
or one clean pair of pants.
To save one dog
or one sick child
a life in both respects.
To make just one sad person smile
I need not be a sun;
a candle will do to brighten the room.
If we all shine as just one small flame
we'll ignite the hearts of all.
