MindSet

As we grow

As we change

The years blend into one

And we add a number to our age.

When we were once young

We reached for bright colors

Our style has dulled

Now we reach for each other

Things become serious

Things come quick

School is no longer a place to kid

Real life is flying towards us

Down the track at full speed

We don't know what to do

Love and support is what we need

Our wounds are more than nicks

Full scars with no fix

Stress piling on like bricks

No one taught us about this

As we grow old

There are more things to do

As our carrers unfold

We strive for something new
