Memories

Friday morning,

Birds singing like immortality,

Cold breeze playing the chorus,

Freshwaters dancing in the stream,

Branches of the mighty walnut tree,

Fluttering on the windows,

Kittens running around joyous,

Ignorant of the cruel realm,

Paradise, isn’t it?

Memories,

Of the past and present,

Is that what makes you?

Cherish the yore,

That future may not be here,

Beseech or fight,

How does it matter after all?
