Meaningless Riot

Seventeen, young and dead

From one man's gun he bled

Court, Trial, and Verdict

Zimmerman was the one the jury picked

He would leave a free man

Defense was the reason at hand

Trayvon was not the victim of the crime

Now all the brats cry and whine

It was the innocent one that died

Not the man on trial alive

Even though I feel sorrow for the lost

He was in the wrong this time

Just look at the cost

He shouldn't have committed the crime

An act of violence towards one man

Dictated his fate that night

Not the gun Zimmerman had

Trayvon should not have started a fight
