Me and Her

Desire to Inspire?

Who wouldn't be...

with the sun in your face

and your shining bright eyes,

I can't help but laugh that

you and me

get to conquer the world.

Every day, when I walk outside those walls

down those gloomy dark halls,

when the days are tough,

I trudge on.

You make me want to work hard,

to be the best I can be,

studying for hours, taking tests, going to dance practice,

I know you look up to me.

In setting an example,

or in helping you out,

doing your hair before school,

I have gotten to know

the coolest person around.

You also inspire me.

Four years younger,

and yet still the person I go to for advice.

The wisest person around.

You're my little sister.

Thanks for sharing the world with me.
