The Masquerade!

People, people everywhere,

The masks that hide their faces.

Everybody stops to stare,

Stopping in their places.

Everyone’s looking at me,

Is it something they don’t see?

I don’t wear a mask,

Do they even need to ask?

While they all hide with fear,

To mortified to look in the mirror.

I’m not afraid to be me,

Cause I’m not ashamed by what I see!
