Marital Rapes

She lived a perfect life
Lovely home & a loyal wife.
And a night of storm; her world shook
No one even cared to have a look.
His nails undressing her pride,
His failure revealed his monstrous side.
Lifeless, she lied there, no tears, no cries
Deciding to stand up, she chose to fight.
Standing before the world, he was not the only culprit, here.
Social beliefs and judgemental people were, too.
The Goddess of Justice is blind!
And so was every person in the sight.
Claims were made, theories were proposed.
Her case had, now, shifted from divorce
To proving her unfaithfull
By clichéd means, no ethics, no rules.
This was the dispute of all times.
The struggle between a man's ego & a woman's pride.
Unable to come to terms with the society,
She was disgusted by the cruelty.
She had lost all her faith. Humiliation was in her fate.
The morning of the Judgement Day,
She hugged him tight with teary eyes.
He, under the impression of his victory,
Hugged her back, celebrating her misery.
She wore a different lipstick that day.
With her drugged lips, she kissed him to death.
Her body, reacting to the poison she was wearing,
CONSENT IS IMPORTANT,
She died screaming.
