Love and Pain

I have love and pain, when you're in love theres alot to gain

He loves me, he loves me not I try to hard to make myself look nice

But he thinks we're just friends, he doesn't see the pain I'm in

And that I'm deep in love, deeper than the depts of the ocean

I'm in pain when I see the girls, so many that want what I want

I have love and pain, I'm ready to gain

All his love and hope it will never change

He calls me sexy, pretty, princess and more

But I still feels as if he's not ready to gain mine

My love that spreads far, farther then the desert

Flows longer than a river that turns into the sea

He hugs me and I listen, I listen to a beat of a heart that matches mine

...A beat that my hear lones for

He says "hey best friend", I say it back but I hold

I hold the words that say I want to be more than that

Hoping that maybe one day I can let them out

Out of my heart and into his

I picture him saying "I'll see you later"

As I say "don't go", knowing he will say "why"

"It's because I love you so", hoping he will say "I love you too"

Not knowing he'll also say "but its just not my time to be with you"

As he continues with...

"It's all a matter of love and pain

That my heart's just not ready to gain"
