Love

For all my life I’d been looking the wrong way

Laughter rings out at I stare at you in amazement

To think such a beautiful sound could be produced from your lips

I can’t help but deliver a heartfelt smile as my eyes curve while you dance

Your sundress reflects the freedom you embody

And your long brown hair flutters around, embodying your wildness

Truly a sight to see

Is it possible I can be a part of this picture?

Just then, your hand reaches out, offering me your love

How did you know what I was thinking?

The tips of your teeth play with your lips as you begin to get nervous

But there’s nothing to be nervous about as I accept your hand and your eyes widen

I dance with you over the soft green grass and find peace as the wind ruffles our hair

I see the grass dance with us as we twirl through the flowers

Truly, this is my love
