Lost Girl

Location

I could have sworn I was there to stay,

but time was slipping away like grains of sand.

Now, from reality, I must get away!

Please, someone, take me back to Neverland.

We flew past the clock!  The teller of time,

that one magical night, not long ago.

I assumed the stars would always shine.

I didn't think, because I didn't know.

Now I'm here in the real world again.

That flight wasn't a fantasy I dreamed up.

I still catch glimpses, every now and then.

Right now, my biggest fear is growing up.

I want to fly back, light as a feather!

Couldn't I be a Lost Girl forever?
