A generation defiled
Immorality welcomed
Violence befriended
Ignorance praised
I am a sinner
I know it
I own it
Stick it to the man
Stick it to their God
My God...

Depression
Sex
Smoke
Feel better?
All those people looking down on you?
They're haters
They cannot help you
What can their God do?
Invisible
Created for the weak to use as a symbol
Hope
Peace
But you are not weak
You have everything you need
one puff, two puff...
Mmm, numb

Alone deep down
Sadness paramount
Save me from this
I see them
I fear them
Empty
Hollow
Selfish
Numb
They don't need anyone
They hate everyone
They care only for themselves
And all that matters is now.

A generation lost
Yearning within
Searching within
Self-love
Self-worth
Self-hatred
No love
No worth
Just hate

We take it out on the world
Take it out on our parents
Misunderstand what a real friend is
Idolize the whore
She's got diamonds, Louboutins, furs
Doctor?
Forget that
Blood makes me queasy
Plus, the patients always look needy
They're sick, it's gross
I'm looking for the job that'll pay the most
With the least work
And a long lunch
You know what I mean?
We want to work but we don't want to work.
We want to eat but we don't want to cook.
We want to succeed but we don't read books.
A generation lost
We generate the cost
of too much advancement
Not enough has happened
To make them see
that we…..are lost.
