A little blonde girl
she stepped onto a plaine 
and away with her family she went

Away from her friends
and her comforts and carefrees
with her ponitailed hair all unkempt

A mission'ry's life
with twelve bags and a sutcase
to the land where the rain overflowed

A half and five years
she did spread the good story
of her hope to the earth down below

All seventeen now
she does sing a new song
as her lifestory just has begun

As onwards to knowledge
and lessons and learnings
the life of a scholar unsung.
