Light Me Up

Location

Grasping for air that my lungs desire

as i pull the tear drops back inside

Camoflaging the dark clouds that hover above me

When will you acknowledge the darkness

that surrounds my inner walls?

The walls that crumble down to pieces

that strive to be picked up and put back together

How much longer do i have to balance myself

on such a thin layer of cold metal in such a cold room?

Battle the enemies who strive to cut my wings off

and leave me no where to fly to

I need that warmth

I need you, the one to light me up,

to be the teacher.
