Living in a world, not knowing any person around you.

Living behind a mask, because people won't understand you.

Living and caring too much, about what other people think of you.

Living without true knowledge, of the man living next door to you.

Living without knowing, exactly what anyone has been through.

Living scared, because people always judge you.

Living a fake life, without letting anyone get to know you.

Living without knowing, exactly what anyone has been through.

Living with a fake smile, not letting anyone know the struggle you're going through.

This is the life we are forced live.

Scared of society,

Scared of ourselves,

Scared of our friends,

Scared of our own family.

Are we wrong to be afraid?

Everyone hurts you,

so you hide behind that mask.

People say they care,

and they constantly ask,

questions to which they do not want to know the answers.

Fear.

Fear is what keeps us from being ourselves.

Fear causes us to lie to others.

Fear is what drives us, what keeps us alive.

And fear is what keeps us from all acting as sisters and brothers.

He who does not fear pain inflicted by others is ignorant to the world.

Hiding behind a mask keeps us safe.

Experience causes us to keep our guard up.

We hide behind our masks, putting on a fake face.

This is the life we are forced to live.
