Born in Idaho in the middle of December, but I was so little that I couldn't remember. To Texas we moved when I was but one, little did I know that it had only begun. I thought that I would stay there the rest of my life. Just hanging around with no strife. I loved to play sports and hang out with my friends. I never thought that it would come to an end. I studied hard you see. so that i could be in Nation Honor Society. Then one day we got some news. We were going to have to start walking in someone else's shoes. We were moving to Haiti,to be missionaries, is what my Dad said. I did not know how to act, so I just went to bed. Before I knew it we were on our way.. No one could stop us, this was our day. When we first arrived we had lots to do. Like finding a house to live in, and unpacking our shoes. We love to share Jesus with our neighborhood friends. But sometimes when you live here it feels like the day never ends. I am very thankful that I got to live here, even though sometimes I miss my peers. Living in a third world country has taught me many things. We definitely are not living like kings. That is why I need this scholarship you see. Thank you so much for listening to me.
