There was a butterfly
Way up in the blue sky.
Looking out the window I was able
To see the beautiful world while sitting at the table.
I had plenty of noodles in my bowl
As I ate, I felt unconditional bliss in my soul.
I look over at a commercial of SpongeBob playing on T.V.
And I think to myself, what do these young kids see?
The world is bright on days the weather is right
These days are perfect when you're at the park drinking a sprite.
People miss out on this kind of day
When they have an attitude that is all work and no play.
People used to define life by giving things like clothes in a bag
But now all people care about is their swag.
People take for granted the the jewelry they wear and the food they eat
but you never know when death can bring you to defeat.
