Lies

Peace never washes over me,

Not even with fresh rain,

It's always a lifetime worth of pain, 

The mask I wear draws attention just like the stars,

I'd wear anything to hide my scars,

Just because they joke and smile everytime,

Doesn't mean that laughter isn't a bold faced lie.
