Lies

Lies.

often times they are used to hold

you together.

They give you hope that maybe,

just maybe tomorrow will be better than

today.

Lies

are the glue that allows

some bonds to stay so tight

that when they break

you are left broken beyond repair.

Lies

will instigate the fight that

can be the difference between

"I care about what happens to you"

and

"I cared about what happened to you"

Lies

might put you on a pedestal now

but when they are revealed

its hight will be the depth

of the hole you will fall into.

Lies

made you my brother.

Truth?

it made you my enemy.
