Let Them Think I’m Oedipus
Let them think I’m Oedipus
because my mom was gay.
Let them think I’m into drag
instead of Rocky Horror-like cosplay.
Let them spin their little tales,
rewrite my life in jest.
They’ll never see the heart of it—
the parts that I know best.
Let them think I’m something else,
some story they adore.
I’ll walk my path unbothered, bold,
and love my darling even more.
