King of the Grind

Location

I work and work, I grind and grind,

Go about my day with leaving nothing behind.

I train night and day like there's no tomorrow.

Because the thought of failing fills me with sorrow.

I lift weights and run for miles,

Even stack bricks to make big piles.

I work this much because I want to succeed,

Because I know one day I'll have mouths to feed.

I have fallen in love with the process, in love with the grind,

It's to prepare the body, the soul, and mind.

Once the time comes to perform on the diamond,

I know that nobody has worked harder than I have.

I will trust in my skills when it comes time,

Because I am the King of the Grind.
