John's Plea

Thu, 08/10/2017 - 23:09 -- tvogel2

I used to have four brothers

Now it’s just you and me

I need you to come home now

From your crusade across the sea

Longchamp, he betrayed you

Brother, pease understand

Marderville died in honor

Betrayed to take this land

I had to take his power

To keep this place for you

But the peasants don’t believe it

They think this is a coup

I had to raise the taxes

To pay for all your men

But Robin Hood will rob us blind

What will I do then?

Richard, please believe it

This wasn’t all just me

I need you to come home now

From your crusade across the sea
