Jim Byrd

I barly knew you. I heard that you protected me from the Gremans and the Japanese. I wish i could have known you.

Thank you for your protection.

You were drafted and left your family. You may not of come back to your home. You fought to protect. You fought and knew you could of died.

Thank you for your insperation.

You fell in love and had a family. You had to know what was more importand. You knew you could have left your love a widow, but god was with youand you knew you would be home. You were inspired by your family and their safty and freedom.

Thank you for you help.

Now its my turn. Help me to be like you. Help me to be a hero. Help me to become an Air Man. Help me to protect.

Help me Grandpa Jim Byrd
