Jealousy

Location

Jealousy is a disease,

Eating away all uniqueness;

Distorting the beautiful image starring back.

The girl in the mirror tells you to hate yourself;

Hate your hair, hate your weight,

Hate everything that makes you, you.

Whatever is left of your originality has been crushed,

Lights seem to shine upon those considered perfect;

While the lights in your eyes, heart and mind dim.

Until one day, when someone comes along,

Someone who rebuilds the pieces of your broken heart;

Who loves your hair, your weight and loves everything about you.

All the years of jealousy,

Hatred against your individuality and difference,

Finally a light has been shown upon you to shine in your own perfection.Jealousy is a disease,
