Ink Grants Imortality

Dripping from the point of my pen
Is the elixir to beat time
How will you catch the precious drops then
Stealing life from these words of mine
How does ink a man immortal make
That any word can bind time itself
What advantage can we then take
To steal from Death its only wealth
For each word that so enraptures
Does make time’s dark hands stand still
Forever that fateful moment is captured
By the sheer force of author’s will
Death cannot be beaten by any man
But ink does outlast humanities’ stand
