I'm Homeless

I was kicked out by my mother and father,
But I have not become a robber.
Instead, I'm homeless and very tired.
Shelter, a hot meal and a hot shower is all that I desire.
My clothes are all tattered,
And nothing much seems to matter.
I'm cold and I'm weak.
I have very little desire to speak.
If you read my "homeless" sign,
Please spare me a dollar or quarter or at least a dime.
I don't think it is too much to ask,
So please be up to the task.
