I write to tell my story in the realest way

I write to get my education on some day

I write as a college sophomore with hopes and dreams no better than those who surround me

I write for the ability to see the world someday

I write to make my every dream come true

I write for not only me, but my cousin

She is the second oldest of five and bright as can be

She is a year away from that mighty walk across that stage

I write so that I can get my degree, and she will know it is very possible
