I Wish

he was shot, In the back.

We knew what was comIng, we had for a while,

the man came to our doorStep, but didn't make a sound.

we knew He was here to take, not to give,

the man began to steal, to rob and to threat.

WE knew we were defenseless, only knives and a phone,

the man HAD a gun, and my father had A heart.

we wish we had a GUN, to protect not attack,

the man shot and ran, my dad in the back.
